The teen had just allegedly murdered a woman and went to supervise kids like nothing happened
17-year-old Kharma Douglas is accused of murdering 44-year-old Chantal Trotter in Vancouver, Washington on October 5, 2025. Kharma is a senior in high school.
Kharma was a family friend and came over to the victim’s home. An argument between Chantal and Kharma broke out. The situation turned physical and Kharma is accused of strangling Chantal to death.
Chantal died on the scene. Kharma left the home and went to a residence down the street to babysit kids.
Police later arrested Kharma on October 5th charging her with murder. Cops say Kharma appeared intoxicated and under the influence of drugs during the arrest.
Kharma was booked into the Clark County Juvenile Court Detention Center on a second degree murder count.
