FATHER MURDERED IN EARLY MORNING SHOOTING, LATINO MAN ARRESTED

Khyre Grier, 25, was murdered on September 26, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. Fabio Funes, 49, is charged with murdering Khyre. The victim was a father and leaves behind a baby son. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Khyre was shot and killed on Eastcrest Drive. Paramedics arrived to find Khyre dead from a shooting. 

Fabio was arrested on the same day and charged with murder. No motive has been listed. 

Khyre’s father died years ago.
