DUNKIN DONUTS GETS 87 B ON HEALTH INSPECTION, POOR MANAGEMENT

Date:

A Dunkin Donuts-Baskin Robbins restaurant received a terrible 87 B on a environmental health inspection on January 3, 2022. The location in question is at 2037 West Sugar Creek Road Charlotte, NC. The manager during the inspection did not hold a certified food protection manager certification.

There was mold buildup observed on the ice machine.

The manager was unable to correctly answer questions that demonstrate knowledge and vastness of violations and repeat violations. The manager’s lack of knowledge indicates poor managerial control over the Dunkin Donuts-Baskin Robbins establishment.

In fact, two employees came into the prep area and begin working with food without washing their hands. An employee in the food prep area was seen handling food with no hair restraint on.

The eggs, ham, and chicken stuffed croissants were all being cold held at unsafe temperatures above 41F, the inspector saw to it that the food was discarded.

The inspector saw debris buildup on shelving throughout Dunkin Donuts-Baskin Robbins. The facility needs more frequent cleaning.

Two opened milk cartons had to be thrown away because they did not have a date mark.
