DRIVE-BY SHOOTING, SUSPECT CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER

Avion Anderson, 19, was arrested on February 7, 2023 accused of attempted murder during an alleged drive-by shooting in Charlotte, NC.

A drive-by shooting occurred on February 7, 2023 at 7:05 P.M. on The Plaza. Several shots were fired at people and into houses in the area. A vehicle then sped off.

A shots fired 911 call was made. Officials arrived on scene and discovered that gun rounds were shot into an occupied dwelling. No one was shot.

On the same day, Avion was arrested and accused of the shooting. Avion was charged with attempted first degree murder and discharging a firearm in occupied property.
