COURT IN CHARLOTTE CANCELLED ON TUESDAY DUE TO WINTER STORM

Due to inclement weather all court sessions at the court building in downtown Charlotte, NC are canceled on January 9, 2024. A winter storm containing cold rain and strong winds is expected for January 9th.

The court is operating under a “Code Green,” meaning all court sessions scheduled for Jan. 9th will be rescheduled to the next available court date. 

All jurors on jury duty, both new and on trial will not need to show up on January 9th.  All court staff are still expected to show up for work. Courts were closed often during the Coronavirus.
