2 cops are dead after a police officer smoked his girlfriend in front of their baby child
Aujanea Martin is organizing this fundraiser. Officer Maria Martin, 22, was murdered by her boyfriend identified as Officer Matthew Ethington, 26, on February 19, 2023 in Livonia, Michigan. Maria and Matthew were both police officers with the Detroit Police Department.
The couple had 2 children together. Both officers were at home during a domestic dispute with one another. Officer Matthew then became enraged and shot Maria dead.
Matthew then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. Both of the victims died on the scene.
911 received a call about a safety well being check to the home after the shots were fired. Police responded to the home and found Maria and Matthew dead.
An unharmed baby was found inside the home. The baby was a child of Maria and Matthew, the child is now in the care of a family member.
Cops are known to murder and then commit suicide.
