COP MURDERED AFTER BEING SHOT WITH ASSAULT RIFLE

Houston Police Officer Charles Galloway, 47, was shot and killed on January 23, 2022 in Houston, Texas.

The shooting was at 12:45 a.m. Officer Galloway pulled over a newer model white Toyota Avalon in a residential neighborhood. The suspect vehicle stopped. The suspect then exited the car and shot an assault style rifle at Officer Galloway several times. 

The officer did not have time to respond or defend himself and as a result was shot several times. The suspect then returned to his vehicle and fled the scene. The suspect still has not been caught.

Officer Galloway died at the scene. The officer is a 12 year veteran of the police force and is survived by his daughter and his sister.
