Iredell police were contacted pertaining to a child being abused. Iredell police then arrested Officer Michael. The child victim was a family member of Officer Michael.
The CMPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau has launched an investigation into this matter. After being arrested, Officer Michael was placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the internal investigation.
