Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Officer Dylan Lineberger, 32, was arrested on October 29, 2024 in Lincoln County, NC.

Officer Dylan had a recent breakup with his girlfriend and he didn’t take it too well. His ex-girlfriend filed a no contact restraining order on Dylan.
But Officer Dylan got a rental car and traveled down to Rock Hill, SC where his ex girlfriend lived. Officer Dylan is accused of throwing Pepto Bismol on his ex-girlfriend’s car.

Dylan is also accused of following his ex-girlfriend to a Food Lion in Rock Hill. The woman then filed harassment warrants on Dylan.
The suspect was arrested in Lincoln, NC during a traffic stop, cops ran his license plate and saw he had warrants for harassment. Click here to see the many Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department cops that have been arrested.
Officer Dylan was taken to the county jail and then extradited to Rock Hill to face the harassment charge. The female victim told a South Carolina judge that she’s afraid for her safety because of Officer Dylan.
The woman said she had to move twice in the past month because she does not feel safe with Officer Dylan on her tail.
The judge ordered Officer Dylan to wear a GPS monitor while the case is pending and to have no contact with the victim.
Officer Dylan was off duty at the time of his arrest. Officer Dylan has been placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the CMPD internal affairs investigation.
Officer Dylan was hired as a cop on Jan. 25, 2016.
