The crash was in the afternoon. Several vehicles including a truck collided into each other. One of the vehicles flipped upside down.
Multiple people were injured in the crash. Unfortunately, one child was killed on scene. Click here to see the many children killed in Charlotte.
The other injured victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Avoid the area, as traffic will be shut down for several hours. It is not known who is at fault for the crash yet, as the investigation is ongoing.
