CHARLOTTE WOMAN WINS $1 MILLION AT QUIK TRIP GAS STATION

Date:

Mary Szura won a $1 million lottery prize at the Quik Trip gas station on Monroe Road Matthews, NC.

Mary tried her luck on a $10 scratch-off and won. She claimed her $1 million prize Friday October 15, 2021 at lottery headquarters in Raleigh, NC.

Mary had the option of taking the $1 million as an annuity of $50,000 a year over 20 years, or a lump sum of $600,000. Mary chose the lump sum of $600,000 and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, she will take home $424,503.

Another man at the same Quik Trip gas station won the $1 million lottery also.

A man won the lottery $1 million jackpot at the Quik Trip gas station on Central Avenue Charlotte, NC.

Ticket sales from scratch-offs make it possible for the lottery to raise more than $900 million a year for education.
