New and recent findings show that Niyha Durham, 23, died from combined fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine toxicity. She died on July 7, 2021 at a motel in Charlotte, NC. The flood of fentanyl has killed over 100,000 people in the United States since 2020.
Niyha was found deceased on the floor in the bedroom of her friend’s motel residence. EMT’s were called, but resuscitation efforts failed. Niyha had a medical history of substance abuse.
Cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine were all found in Niyha’s blood content. The threats and dangers of fentanyl are real. Several people in Charlotte have died from fentanyl drug overdose. A rapper identified as 33-year-old Cameron Henegan died from a fentanyl and cocaine overdose.
Niyha was a mother that had a young son. Her son is now with family. Niyha was a prolific singer.
