18-year-old Nakiyan Anderson is from Charlotte, NC he was arrested on August 31, 2026 charged with a murder that occurred at a camping site in Iron Station, NC. 36-year-old Curtis Baxter was killed.
The fatal shooting was on Aug. 23, 2026 at Tuckers Grove Camp Ground in Iron Station. The shooting was during a disagreement. Curtis died on scene.
Nakiyan was arrested days later charged with first degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault on an individual with a disability.
