26-year-old Rashawn Dawkins, was arrested on October 1, 2024 accused of physically assaulting his girlfriend at the Cinergy Dine-In Cinema located at 5336 Docia Crossing Rd. Charlotte, NC.
The alleged encounter occurred on September 28, 2024. The female says she was in the parking lot area of the Cinergy Dine In Cinema when she was struck in the back of the head several times, grabbed by her arms, and thrown to the ground.
The victim then stated that she called her mother to pick her up and bring her back to her home. The female victim stated that the suspect followed her home and entered her garage without permission and punctured two tires on her vehicle.
The suspect then left. Officers arrived to the home and observed several bruises on the woman and injuries on the back of her head. A victim was shot at Concord Mills Mall during the “Us” movie.
The victim stated that the suspect also threatened to punch her in the face. Police identified Rashawn as the suspect and arrested him on October 1st.
Rashawn was charged with assault on a female, domestic violence, breaking and entering, injury to personal property, and communicating threats.
