BOXER DIES WITH DIGESTED FOOD IN STOMACH, FROM PULMONARY EMBOLISM, HE HAD SCHIZOPHRENIA

Darrel Anderson, 40, died from pulmonary embolism in Charlotte, NC on May 5, 2024 on the Cinco De Mayo holiday. Pulmonary embolism is when a blood clot blocks blood flow to lung arteries. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram now.

Darrel was an amateur boxer he also was employed as a construction worker. Prior to his death Darrel called 911 complaining of chest pain.

Darrel was at his home on Avatar Drive and had been taking laxatives at the time of death. Darrel died soon afterwards.

Darrel has a past medical history significant for chronic pulmonary embolism, deep vein thromboses, and schizophrenia. He was also previously treated with anti coagulation therapy.

Darrell died on the Cinco De Mayo holiday

Postmortem analysis reveals Darrel died from a pulmonary embolism that completely occluded the right main pulmonary artery.

Darrel had partially digested food in his stomach at the time of death.
