Erik Todd, 43, was arrested on September 29, 2024 during a domestic violence encounter with a man named Manuel Lewis in Charlotte, NC. Erik is an accomplished nurse at Atrium Health Hospital. Erik has an identical twin brother, the twin was not involved in this situation.
Officers were dispatched to a rather luxury home on Tradition View Drive in reference to a domestic assault call. Both Erik and Manuel lived in the home together. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
Manuel claims he and Erik were in a physical altercation. Erik is accused of hitting Manuel.
One of the men was accused of cheating by the other. Erik got home first and had taken their dog in the back yard.
Manuel got home after Erik and tried to get into the front door of the home but something was blocking the door. Manuel went to the backyard and observed Erik with the dog.
Manuel picked the dog up and began to walk to the front yard, Erik is accused of shoving Manuel from behind.
Manuel fell to the ground and Erik is then accused of dragging Manuel through the mud and proceeding to choke him. Manuel was covered in mud.
Manuel then bit Erik. Manuel also called 911 and Erik’s mother to the home. Erik’s mother had to tell Erik to come outside and speak with cops. Erik was then arrested charged with domestic violence.
