Cordero Audrey, 33, was arrested on August 10, 2021. Cordero is charged with the murder of 34-year-old Horace McCorey in Charlotte, NC.
Horace was shot in the parking lot and was able to drive to a nearby fire station where he crashed into the garage to get the fire fighter’s attention. Horace was noticed and emergency aid was rendered.
However, Horace would soon die from the gunshot wounds he sustained.
As a result of continued investigation, homicide detectives issued warrants against Cordero.
On August 10, 2021, Cordero was arrested without incident after a collaborative effort between the Police Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, the FBI, and the United States Secret Service.
Cordero is charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
