ARREST MADE AFTER GARINGER BASKETBALL PLAYER KILLED, SHOT IN HEAD

On December 5, 2023 Myhijee Major, 19, was arrested, charged with killing Johnie McClendon, 14, in Charlotte, NC. Johnie was shot in the head. The victim was a basketball player at Garinger High School. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

Johmie was shot in the head on December 3, 2023 at a residence on Keswick Avenue in Charlotte around 7:40 p.m. 911 was called and paramedics arrived. Resuscitation efforts were made, but the victim was pronounced deceased on site.  

Myhijee was arrested on December 5th charged with involuntary manslaughter.
