WOMAN MURDERED IN WEST CHARLOTTE, SUSPECT ARRESTED, MANY WOMEN MURDERED IN CHARLOTTE

Ja’Meil Robert Lynwood Catlett, 38, is charged with the murder of 40-year-old Eileen Rosado. The suspect was arrested on December 1, 2021. 

Eileen was murdered on October 20, 2021 on Spring Street Charlotte, NC in the afternoon. The victim was killed near a home. Police arrived and began looking for a suspect. The SWAT team was called to the location and assisted with a search.

Walter G. Byers Elementary School was placed on lock down as a precaution, the school is very close to the site of the murder. Ja’Meil was never located on the day of the murder.

On December 1, 2021 detectives located and arrested Ja’Meil in High Point, NC. Following his interview with detectives, Ja’Meil was transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

MANY WOMEN MURDERED IN CHARLOTE

21-year-old Denee Rawls was murdered in Charlotte, allegedly by her boyfriend Nicholas Davis.

Shalecia Williams was shot and killed in a violent apartment complex shooting on Snow Lane in Charlotte, NC.

2 women were murdered on Memorial Day 2021 in Charlotte. 

Miranda Springs, 30, was found dead in the woods.

Diane Sanders, 56, was killed on October 5, 2021 in a violent homicide.

28-year-old Aiesha Summers was shot and killed in an apartment.

A woman was shot and killed by her male partner on the Martin Luther King holiday.

Lillie Stewart was killed during a west Charlotte fight.
