4 SUSPECTS CHARGED WITH MURDER OF MAN

Monterius Johnson, 23, was arrested on December 30, 2021 charged with the Charlotte, NC murder of 21-year-old Tahajie Howard. 3 other suspects were also charged with the murder earlier in December and they are: Gervaris Culp, 24, Takyi Wylie, 20, and Jamel Robinson, 21.

Monterius is charged with 1st degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Tahajie was shot and killed in a violent homicide on October 17, 2021 on South Mint Street Charlotte, NC in uptown.

In the late evening Tahajie was shot on Remount Road. Tahajie was driven to a parking lot on South Mint Street in uptown Charlotte, where he was pronounced deceased on scene.

On December 9, 2021 Geraaris, Takyi, and Jamel were arrested and charged with 1^st degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
