Shamaiya Hall, 25, was arrested charged with 3 counts of capital murder on March 3, 2023 in Italy, Texas after she stabbed 5 of her children, 3 of the kids were killed. 6-year-old Legend Chapell and five-year-old twins Aliyah and Ayden Martin were killed. Shamaiya’s 13-month old baby and 4-year-old child were seriously wounded.
On March 3, 2023 a Texas Child Protective Services official came to a home where the kids were living at to conduct a home visit.
5 critically injured children were discovered at the residence. The child services worker called 911.
Legend, Aliyah, and Ayden were dead from being stabbed. The 13-month old baby and 4-year-old child were seriously wounded from being stabbed.
Shamaiya was arrested on the scene and charged with 3 counts of murder, her bail is $6 million.
A knife blade with blood on it, 2 large stainless steel knifes with blood on them, and a black knife handle were found in the house.
