Azariel Araque, 22, was arrested on January 19, 2021 and charged with the murder on 23-year-old Xavier Adams. Azariel is the second suspect charged in the murder.
Xavier was killed on November 6, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. On December 3, 2020 Willie Swinton, 27, was arrested and charged with Xavier’s murder.
Xavier was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon at apartments on Campus Walk Lane in Charlotte during an alleged robbery. Xavier received medical aid, but he was pronounced deceased some time afterwards on the same night of the assault.
Azariel was arrested in Lexington, North Carolina, he is charged with murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and accessory after the fact to murder.
