Jonathan Hill, 40, was killed in a car accident on July 1, 2026 in Matthews, NC on Mckee Road. On July 20, 2026, Xiukuai Zhang, 46, and Ryan Faulkner, 59, were arrested accused of killing Hill in the crash.
The wreck was on July 1, 2026, at approximately 9.34 p.m., in the intersection of East John Street and McKee Road.
A four vehicle crash occurred. Hill was on a motorcycle when a car turned in front of him and hit him allegedly driven by Ryan. Hill was knocked off the motorcycle and then run over by Xiukuai cops say.
Xiukuai is accused of leaving the scene without stopping. Hill died on scene.
On July 20th Xiukuai was arrested charged with felony hit and run. Ryan was also arrested on the 20th charged with death by vehicle and failure to yield right of way.
