On Christmas Day 2024 December 25th an apartment fire killed 2 people on Spanish Quarter Circle Charlotte, NC. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.
At 3:30 a.m. on Christmas morning, burning candles were left unattended and ended up burning the apartment unit down. Christmas time deaths are on the rise.
Firefighters were called to the blaze. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the two victims were found dead inside the residence.
3 cats were also killed in the fire. According to the fire department, no other apartments were damaged in the fire.
