On April 24, 2024 Praful Shah won $2 million in the lottery at the BP Amoco gas station on West Sugar Creek Road Charlotte, NC. Praful happens to already own the gas station.

Owner of gas station wins $2 million lottery at his own store

After work Praful decided to pay $20 for a scratch off Lucky Mega 7′s ticket at his gas station store. Praful ended up being the winner of the $2 million grand prize.Praful was elated that he won the lottery inside of the gas station that he owns. Praful came to lottery headquarters the very next day to claim his $2 million winnings. Praful ultimately decided to choose a lump sum of $1.2 million and, after required state and federal tax with-holdings Praful took home $858,006.
