Mario Ramirez-Duarte, 20, and Juan Deras Escalante, 21, were arrested on August 15, 2021 in Charlotte, NC charged with the murder of 22-year-old Tyron Ervin. The suspects were already in jail for other previous murders, more on that later.
Tyron was shot and killed on December 17, 2018 on Fisher’s Pond Drive Charlotte, NC.
Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon dispatch. Upon arrival, they located Tyron suffering from gunshot wounds. Tyron was pronounced deceased on scene.
It took almost 3 years for an arrest to be made in Tyron’s murder. Mario and Juan are both charged with Tyron’s murder.
Juan was already in jail after being charged with the murder of Domingo Venancio-Tapia in 2019.
Mario was also charged with the previous murder of Shandiin Sanchez.
