29-year-old Timothy Doll was arrested on May 8, 2023 charged with the murder of 15-year-old Gracie Sasso-Cleveland in DeKalb, Illinois. Gracie had been missing for a week.
Gracie was reported missing on May 6, 2023 after she had not been seen for days. On May 7, 2023 Gracie was found dead in a dumpster.
Timothy was charged with Gracie’s murder.
Timothy and Gracie were dating. On the night of May 4th, Timothy and Gracie got into an argument.
Timothy is accused of holding Gracie down and suffocating her with a pillow until she lost consciousness.
Cops say Timothy then placed Gracie’s body in the dumpster, removed her personal items from his apartment, and threw her phone away in the garbage at another location.
An autopsy report determined Gracie died of asphyxiation.
According to police, Timothy was on probation stemming from a 2020 aggravated criminal sexual abuse case. Timothy was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse/victim 13-16 and child pornography –– victim less than 13.
