15-year-old JaShawnna Coleman was shot and killed on September 25, 2022 in Lancaster, SC.
JaShawnna was sleeping on a couch at apartments on County Club Road when shots were fired from the street at 12:51 a.m.
The shots entered an apartment unit where JaShawnna was sleep. The bullets hit JaShawnna. Police were called after family members heard the shots and discovered JaShawnna was hit.
Sadly, JaShawnna died at the scene. JaShawnna was an innocent victim, she nor the apartment unit was not the intended target.
No arrests have been made.
