18-year-old Junio Ramos Estrada is accused in the shooting death of 14-year-old Vanessa Santos Garcia. On November 27, 2021 Vanessa was shot and killed on Olando Street Charlotte, NC.
911 was called regarding fired gunshots. Vanessa was found shot in a home on Olando Street. Life saving efforts and treatment were made, but Vanessa still died on the scene.
As a result of the continued investigation, homicide detectives identified Junio as a suspect in this case. After an interview with detectives, Junio was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter, statutory rape, and possession of a stolen firearm.
