On August 12, 2023 Maria Gonzalez was found dead in a trash bag under a bed mattress in Pasadena, Texas.
Maria was home alone inside an apartment while her father was at work. Maria called her father and said that someone was knocking on the door.
Her father said do not answer the door. That was the last time Maria talked to her father.
Around 3 p.m. Maria was found dead by her father when he returned home from work. Maria was found in a trash bag under a bed. Maria had been strangled.
According to the medical examiner’s office, Maria died from asphyxiation due to strangulation, she had also been sexually assaulted.
