Tashya Jay, 11, was shot and killed on June 9, 2021 in Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina.
A party was going on near the home Tashya was living in around 10:30 p.m. 2 gangs got into a shoot out at the party and stray bullets came crashing into Tashya’s home, she was shot and then died at the home.
Another girl was also shot and is being treated at the hospital. Multiple mobile homes and vehicles were damaged during the shooting.
