A $2.5 million methamphetamine bust occurred in Arizona on Interstate 40. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
The video was just released, but the drug bust happened in February 2023. A cop conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 40 after noticing a white vehicle following another vehicle too closely.

Cops likely have internal intelligence on drug pushers, so when a drug suspect is seen, cops make up reasons for traffic stops.

The vehicle was pulled over, and 3 male suspects are seen. Cops ask for consent to search the vehicle and the driver identified as Reuben refuses to let the cop search the car.
Cops then do a canine open air sniff, the dog alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. That then gave cops authority to search the vehicle.
$2.5 million worth of methamphetamine was found in the trunk of the car in a black box. Fentanyl was found too. All 3 suspects were then arrested charged with trafficking drugs.
