Police near Charlotte, NC along with several local, state, and federal agencies, arrested three illegal immigrants on Monday after seizing roughly $200,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine.
Cristian Cabrera-Rivas, Silvia Hernandez-Iturralde, and Marco Garcia were all arrested at the conclusion of a large scale narcotics investigation on January 7th.
The suspects were in possession of kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, which has a street value of around $200,000. Kilograms are also known as bricks.
To make matters worse, several children were present in the home during the arrests. The children have been taken into protective custody.
All three suspects were in the United States illegally.
Cristian has an extensive criminal record and has been deported and removed several times.
He is also reportedly a documented member of the MS-13 street gang.
