Roderick was getting high from crack cocaine outside a barbershop when he died
Roderick Barber, 48, died from a cocaine overdose on Beatties Ford Road Charlotte, NC on February 15, 2025. Roderick had hepatitis B in his medical history.

Roderick was hanging out with friends in the rain in front of a barbershop on Beatties Ford Road when he fell to the ground at 9 a.m., dropping dead.
The owner of the barbershop arrived to open up for the day and he found Roderick there dead. People tried to resuscitate him, and even paramedics arrived, but Roderick died on scene.

Post mortem analysis shows that Roderick had 0.85 mg of cocaine in his blood stream. He died from a cocaine overdose, cocaine toxicity was the cause of death.
