LATINO DRUG CARTEL MEMBER HAD $794,899 WORTH OF METH ON INTERSTATE 77

25-year-old Daniel Gallardo was arrested on December 22, 2021 on drug trafficking charges. Daniel allegedly had $794,899 in meth during a traffic stop on I-77 in Iredell County, NC. Daniel is alleged to be a member of a Latino Drug Cartel. 

Daniel was travelling on I-77 when he was pulled over during a traffic stop. Agents from The Department Homeland Security seized nearly $800,000 of crystal methamphetamine from Daniel’s vehicle. The crystal methamphetamine weighed 17 pounds.

An investigation into a Mexican based drug trafficking organization led to the traffic stop. 

Approximately $794,899 worth of methamphetamine was found. 

Daniel is from Salt Lake City, Utah. He is charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine by possession and felony trafficking methamphetamine by transportation.

 Mirsa Escobedo was accused of having multiple bricks of cocaine in a Motel 6 room.
