2 PEOPLE FOUND DEAD AFTER SNORTING COCAINE AT BIRTHDAY PARTY, FENTANYL TOXICITY

New details show how Joshua Jett, 33, and Karlotta Robinson, 32, died of fentanyl toxicity in Charlotte, NC on July 22, 2023. Follow Charlotte Alerts on Instagram.

The 2 dead victims were at Karlotta’s house where they had reportedly been celebrating Karlotta’s birthday the night before they were found dead. 

Karlotta and Mr. Jett had been consuming alcohol and snorting cocaine. They were both found deceased the next day after police came to the home. Family and friends sent cops to the home since they could not reach the victims. 

Fentanyl, 4-ANPP, THC compounds, cocaine, and ethanol were found in Mr. Jett’s bodily system.

Cocaine and fentanyl were in Karlotta’s body. She had cardiomegaly with a 430 gram heart displaying left ventricular hypertrophy, and pulmonary vascular congestion along with edema due to the cocaine and fentanyl consumption.

Other after death findings on Karlotta included a moderately enlarged uterus consistent with a recent birth approximately three weeks prior.

The fentanyl and cocaine caused pulmonary vascular congestion and edema within Mr. Jett, which led to him not being able to breathe. 

The official cause of death is fentanyl and cocaine toxicity. Both Karlotta and Mr. Jett had young kids.
