On January 29, 2025 a large scale drug bust occurred in Charlotte, NC at apartments on 3317 Magnolia Hill Dr. 18 pounds of marijuana was discovered. Charlotte Alerts is on Instagram.
Cops were in the area and detected the odor of marijuana coming from a parked vehicle. Officers attempted to contact those inside the vehicle. The vehicle sped off through the parking lot while cops gave chase.
2 suspects then ran from the car on foot. The suspects were arrested in minutes. A search of the vehicle was conducted and 18 pounds of marijuana wrapped in air tight bags were found along with a concealed firearm.
The suspects were arrested charged with trafficking marijuana by possession and transportation and carrying a concealed weapon. The drugs were worth $200,000.
