On June 22, 2020 a homicide happened near the 5300 block of Montague Street Charlotte, NC. One woman was killed.
A shooting occurred on Montague Street that left an adult female hit. Medics transported the victim to the hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation, and Crime Scene Search responded to process the scene and collect physical evidence. Representatives from the CMPD’s Operations Command, CFD and MEDIC also assisted. Detectives are speaking with a person of interest and are not looking for any additional suspects at this time.
