On September 28, 2021 detectives obtained arrest warrants against Marteicus Taylor, 28, in the murders of Isiah Jeremiah Doctor-Muhammad, 22, and 27-year-old Lee’Vantay Rankin that occured in Charlotte, NC.
Marteicus is currently an inmate in Tabor City, NC at the Tabor Correctional Jail.
On March 15, 2021 Lee’vantay and Isaiah were killed in a triple shooting on Kings Ridge Drive Charlotte, NC. A shooting transpired at apartments in the area and 3 men were shot. Isaiah died on the scene. Lee’vantay was rushed to the hospital where he died from his gunshots.
A third man was also shot and taken to the hospital, but he survived.
Marteicus is charged with 2 counts of first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, assault with a deadly weapon intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
