40-year-old Davion Redfearn is accused of a mass shooting that transpired in Charlotte, NC during a balloon drop for a young girl that died from a heart condition. The quintuple shooting was on December 10, 2021 around 10:30 at night.
Several people were gathered on Marney Ave. to honor the life of a little girl that died from complications of the heart. Family and friends were having a balloon drop and celebrating the little girl’s legacy.
The 2 vehicles then sped away.
At 3 a.m. on December 11, 2021 Davion was arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon serious injury.
The suspect(s) in the other vehicle is still being sought.
