Jayquan Wilmore, 27, lives in Charlotte, NC, but on November 24, 2021 he was arrested and charged with a murder that occurred in Rock Hill, South Carolina back in 2014. Jayquan is accused of murdering Antonio Heath, 41.
Antonio was shot and killed on McGee Road Rock Hill, SC on November 24, 2014. Antonio was in the breezeway of an apartment complex at 9 p.m. when two men approached and shot him dead.
The 2 suspects fled the scene.
Detectives with the Rock Hill Criminal Investigations Division continued to investigate the homicide over the years and in November 2021 the detectives issued arrest warrants for Jayquan.
The warrants were for murder, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, and criminal conspiracy.
The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department arrested Jayquan in Charlotte, NC on November 24, 2021. He was extradited to Rock Hill.
