18-WHEELER TRUCK HAD $600,000 WORTH OF METH AND COCAINE

$673,733 worth of cocaine and methamphetamine were found on a commercial truck in Eagle Pass, Texas by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on April 4, 2022.

Officers assigned to the cargo facility encountered a tractor trailer in the import lot hauling a shipment of copper tubes. The truck and the shipment were referred for a canine search, resulting in the discovery of 10 packages containing 23.8 pounds of methamphetamine and 10 packages containing 25.6 pounds of cocaine within the sleeper area of the cab.

The narcotics have an estimated street value of $673,733.
