On March 30, 2022 a woman was tased at a Walmart in Marion County, Florida.
At 1:30 p.m. customers and staff called police claiming that the suspect Brandy McGowan, 32, was threatening people with a knife in the Walmart. Deputy Christopher Witte arrived at the Walmart and ordered Brandy to drop the knife.
When Brandy refused to drop the knife, Deputy Witte shot her with the taser. Brandy is seen falling to the ground.
Brandy was taken to the hospital and then charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
