On April 14, 2022 Benjamin Plyler, 33, was shot and killed at a home in Albemarle, NC. 33-year-old Quinton Harris is charged with the murder.
The homicide was in the afternoon. Shots were fired at a home on Monza Drive. 911 was called and cops found Benjamin inside the home unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.
Stanly County EMS arrived at the scene and pronounced Benjamin dead.
After an investigation, authorities identified the suspect as Quinton, he was arrested and charged with first degree murder. Quinton is now in the Stanly County Jail with no bond.
Benjamin was a father and leaves behind a young daughter.
