A shootout erupted in uptown Charlotte, NC on August 11, 2022. Two people were shot during the shooting on North Tryon Street.
The shooting was around 7 p.m. Several shots were fired between several people. Two victims were struck by gunfire. The suspects fled. Both victims were taken to the hospital and are in critical condition.
A few luxury apartment units were hit by bullets, a food truck was also hit.
