On August 23, 2022 just after 7 am Brandon Baker, 34, is accused of carjacking a vehicle and leading cops on a wild chase in Alachua County Florida.
The Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol were pursuing a box truck stolen out of the Tampa, FL area.
The driver identified as Brandon had also allegedly been involved in an armed carjacking and then stole a box truck. Cops spotted the stolen box truck and initiated a chase.
The box truck was seen swerving in traffic and driving in wrong way traffic. After several minutes Brandon is seen jumping out of the box truck while it is still in motion. Brandon falls to the ground and attempted to flee on foot.
He was quickly taken into custody. Brandon was charged with hit and run, reckless driving, aggravated battery, grand theft, and other charges.
