SUSPECT CHARGED WITH MURDERING YOUNG FATHER AND RAPPER

Drakwan Butler, 30, is charged with the murder of Herbert Eaton, 26. Drakwan was arrested by U.S. Marshals on August 28, 2022.

Herbert ‘June’ was killed in a wild shooting at apartments on Philadelphia Court Charlotte, NC on June 3, 2022. Herbert went by the rap name June. June was a father.

The shooting erupted in the morning hours at the apartments. The victim was shot several times. Paramedics were called and June was taken to the hospital, where he died.

June was born in Harrisburg, PA, he was an up and coming rapper. More than 2 months later Drakwan was arrested and charged with the murder of the victim.
