2 SUSPECTS CHARGED WITH MURDERING MAN BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Jeremiah Cunningham, 20, and Josiah Bailey, 20, were arrested charged with the murder of David Manning, 20. David was shot and killed on December 14, 2022 at the intersection of Dalphin Jones Drive and Katherine Kiker Road Charlotte, NC.

David was shot around 11 a.m. in front of a house. 911 was called due to shots fired. Emergency responders arrived and located David dead. David was a graduate of Garinger High School.

On December 14, 2022, officers encountered Jeremiah at Atrium Health Hospital on North Tryon Street. For whatever reason he was taken into custody to the Law Enforcement Center in uptown Charlotte to speak with homicide detectives. 

After the interview Jeremiah was arrested and charged with murder.

On December 22, 2022 Josiah turned himself into the jail. Josiah is also charged with murder.
