VIDEO: MAN JUMPS OUT OF SECOND STORY WINDOW TWICE IN COP CHASE

Date:

On February 11, 2023, crime suppression officers with the Atlanta Police Department received information on the location of 49-year-old George Delmar in Atlanta, GA.

George was a burglary suspect with multiple active arrest warrants. Officers responded to apartments where George was at.

As officers began entering the apartment, George fled and jumped through a glass window to escape.

George was able to land on his feet and run away. Officers outside the apartment pursued the suspect on foot.

Tasers were deployed several times, but they did not appear to have an effect on the suspect. George ran into a second nearby apartment building and ran up the stairs.

George then jumped through a second glass window, from over 14 feet high. George fell to the ground below.

Nearby officers were able to take George into custody before he had another chance to run.

George has 31 previous arrest cycles, including previous charges for burglary. George was taken to Grady Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained as he jumped through the windows.

After being released from the hospital, George was transported to the Fulton County Jail.
