Two teen girls ages 16 and 17 were arrested after being accused of attacking a substitute teacher at Turning Point Academy in Charlotte, NC on March 22, 2023.
The attack stemmed from an argument with a substitute female teacher at the alternative school. The girls got aggressive toward the teacher and hit her in the face.
The teacher suffered injuries to her head, neck, and hands. The teacher required hospitalization. Police were then called to the school. The 2 students were arrested and charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
Turning Point Academy has been struggling with safety concerns for years, some teachers have even quit their jobs at the school due to safety and student bad behavior.
Turning Point Academy is a school that serves kids that may of been kicked out of regular school or failed out. Many students that attend the school have bad behavior.
